Lyrics probably made up on the spot. The song is about the lack of things to do in south lanarkshire. it's also a bit about hope for the future

it's about one time when I was in the park and it was sunny and the squirrels ran on my chest

this song is a response to the unexpected sudden death of a good friend and the sudden realisation that life is not a rehearsal and you have to fucking live it people. nowadays it's a theme song for an independent Scotland.

London (less rough)

it's a story about being afraid of death but realising that you are going to die and sort of hoping that if you were going to die someone would take you out to the countryside and leave you there. it was written after a drunken trip to london to see nine inch nails at brixton academy and that's why it's so fucking morbid

it's about not wanting to speak to people but cunts still phoning you even when they are clearly cunts and they should know better. i'm much nicer and more approachable nowadays

this song is about an immediate emotional response to the unexpected accidental death of a friend and responding to people who say insensitive and thoughtless things. it's a really angry and bitter song. the original chorus had the lyrics 'fuck you, you fucking cunt, fuck you, you fucking runt'. I compromised my artistic integrity there so I could get on top of the pops. that worked, didn't it?
